Audiences have had the chance to come face to face with large replicas of herbivores and terrifying tyrannosaurs, as well as teeth, tail bones, jaws, and claws of the prehistoric creatures.

Attendees can also touch real fossils, bones, and even dinosaur excrement.

Museums Worcestershire marketing manager, Helen Large said: "It’s been a tremendous summer for families in Worcester with dinosaurs in the museum and penguins all around the city.

"It has been a pleasure to welcome so many people to the Art Gallery & Museum and to see so many excited children loving the huge dinosaur skeletons and enjoying the trails and activities.

"We will all be sorry to see the dinosaurs go on their way."

The exhibition is free and is open from Tuesday to Saturday between 10am and 4pm, and on Sunday between 10am and 3pm.
