A CYCLIST has been taken to hospital after he was injured falling off his bike.
The incident happened in Oldbury Road, St John's, Worcester shortly before 8pm on Saturday.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "We were called to Oldbury Road at around 8.15pm on Saturday evening following a report that a person had fallen off their bike.
Officers attended but no further action was required. The person was left in the care of the ambulance service."
A spokesperson for the West Midlands Ambulance Service said: "We were called at 7.57pm on Saturday to Oldbury Road, Worcester. An ambulance and specialist paramedic attended the scene to find a cyclist who had reportedly fallen off his bike.
"The man was given treatment for his injuries on scene before being conveyed to Worcestershire Royal Hospital."
