Families had a 'roarsome' time and praised event organisers after the city's racecourse hosted its annual family fun day.
Plenty of people travelled to Worcester Racecourse for the Dino Family Fun Day on Sunday (September 1) despite heavy showers and even thunderstorms forecast for the day.
Lauren Salt, who attended with her partner and three-year-old daughter Ivy, said: "We come to races quite often across the year anyway but today's all about Dino Day.
"There's plenty to do and Ivy really enjoyed the face painting."
Amelia Foley, who travelled from Bromsgrove with her two boys Frederick and Barnaby, said: "We've had a really lovely day so far - it has been brilliant for the kids.
"It has been well thought out and organised I think. I like the fact that they put the kids' activities in the centre of the course.
"It doesn't feel too overcrowded either."
The main grandstand was open at Worcester Racecourse for the event with a seven-race card delivered on the day.
However, the most fun was had at the Dino Family Fun Day activities that were all focused on the centre course enclosure.
Alongside face painting, a pick n' mix stall and large inflatables, large dinosaurs roamed the centre zone and children had the opportunity to take on dinosaur ranger training.
Zoey Handy, who came with her partner Robert and daughter Nevaeh, said: "We came last year and we feel like there was a bit more to do then compared to today.
"But we have had a great time, and Nevaeh's really enjoyed the dinosaur theme."
Paul Lessemun, from Worcester, said: "We have really enjoyed it, and they've improved the centre course area because they have brought marquees in - just in case the weather turns.
"The only downside has been the extra charge for the inflatables which brings up the overall cost as a family.
"In previous years everything has been included for the kids."
Worcester Racecourse has five more race meetings scheduled across eight weeks, culminating in the racing season finale on Wednesday, October 23.
