Dogs become our best friends and if you’re looking for a new companion, we might be able to help you find your match.

Dogs Trust Evesham has lots of dogs available whether you’re looking for a new puppy to welcome into the family or you want to give an older dog a loving forever home.

If you can’t adopt a furry friend but still want to help, you can support the centre’s work by donating.

This can be done via the support page on its website.

Henrietta

Gender – Female

Age – 5-7 years

Breed – Foxhound

Henrietta has the potential to live with children that are around secondary school age and depending on a successful mix at the centre, she could live with another dog.

She is friendly but bouncy and has no history of being around small children.

Henrietta came into Dogs Trust’s care as a stray and is potentially an ex-working dog.

Dogs Trust added: “We don’t know if she’s ever lived in a home before so things like left-alone time and housetraining will need a bit of a helping hand.”

Brogue

Gender – Male

Age – 4 years

Breed – Rottweiler cross

Brogue is looking for an adult-only home where he can be the only pet as he’s a “sweet boy” but can be over-the-top and jump up.

He needs his own secure garden so he can go to the toilet outside and doesn’t have the pressure to go for walks until he’s settled.

Brogue wears a muzzle on walks and has enjoyed them with some dogs at the centre but he needs to build his confidence around others. He is currently on some medication to help with his confidence and will need to continue it in his new home.

Herman

Gender – Male

Age – 8 years

Breed – German Shepherd

Herman is looking for a quiet home but he could share it with children of a secondary school age.

He needs to be the only pet in his new home as he can get worried by other dogs when he’s out and will react.

Herman needs his own garden that’s secure so he can have somewhere to relax.

He’s not keen on kennels so has spent time away with one of the centre’s staff members.

Chester

Gender – Male

Age – 4 years

Breed – Cocker Spaniel

Chester is active but would like a quiet home where there are no children.

He has had a lot of recent upheaval in his life and he needs owners who can be around most of the time so a family that works from home would be great.

Chester can’t live with any pets but he can enjoy walks with dog friends.

He needs to live with a family that will help with his training including a resource-guarding issue.

Lenny

Gender – Male

Age – 3 years

Breed – Dobermann

Lenny is “very sweet” but he’s a big boy who can be bouncy so any children in his new home need to be of secondary school age and happy with a more boisterous dog.

He needs to be the only pet in his new home but he’d love to enjoy his walks with some calm dog friends.

Lenny is learning how to wear a muzzle when out on walks and his new family will be shown what he’s learned to make adopting him a positive experience for both Lenny and his new owners.

Gender – Male

Age – 7 years

Breed – Jack Russell Terrier cross

Blake is looking for a quieter and adult-only home with a family that can understand his body language.

He needs to be the only pet in his new home and he’d benefit from having a secure garden.

Blake is on medication for epilepsy and was found as a stray.

Dogs Trust said: “He is currently residing in one of our lovely foster homes and being a wonderful house guest.”

Dogs Trust said: “Bibi previously lived on a farm with lots of space all to herself, so isn’t used to seeing many new people or dogs!”

She is looking for a quite home and she’s a nervous girl generally (particularly if it’s noisy) so she’d like to only live with adults.

Bibi needs to be the only pet in her new home but she can enjoy walks with quiet dogs.
