THE family of a "bubbly" retired firefighter who loved to laugh has invited people to celebrate his life as they release details of his funeral.
"Proud grandad" and "devoted husband" Andy Hirons died after a BMW 120D crashed into two motorbikes in Pershore Lane in Spetchley on August 15.
The 53-year-old, from Evesham, was described as the type of man who loved to laugh and could bring a smile to anyone's face.
And now, the family are inviting everyone to pay their respects to Mr Hirons at his funeral service at Vale Crematorium in Fladbury.
The service will pay a special tribute to the father of three firefighting days by draping a Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue flag across the coffin.
Mr Hirons has been described as passionate about motorbikes and could often be seen taking part in the annual Christmas Santa Run or raising funds with his old fire colleagues at Pebworth Fire Station.

The family has requested that any donations be given to theirHis daughter, Kim Walker, described her father as a man who "loved it all".
"He was loving life with plenty of new friends in this great biking community he was a part of," she said.
"He worked hard, was never ill and felt guilty if he didn't go to work as he knew it would make someone else's job harder.
"He was always thinking of others and gave his all to work, family and friends."
The father of three also previously worked as a farmer, a driver, in the security industry and became a "valued member of staff" at Unipart Honeybourne for 24 years.
Throughout his career, Mr Hirons always had his beloved wife, Tracey, by his side, and the two recently shared their pearl wedding anniversary.
Mr Hirons is survived by his wife Tracey, his three children, Stacey, Kim and Steven, and his three grandchildren, Marcie, Eloise and Noah.
The service will take place on Thursday, September 12 at 10am.
After the service, guests are also invited to the wake, which will take place at Badsey Sports Club on Brewers Lane.
