A recent survey has discovered that holidayers from the West Midlands visit British pubs three times on every holiday abroad.
Seared Pubs, under the Greene King umbrella, has discovered that West Midlanders particularly value two things while on holiday - testing out new food and enjoying the familiarity of a British pub experience.
The survey, collating responses from more than 2,000 adults across the UK, shows that 70 per cent of holidaymakers from the region visit a British pub while abroad, typically doing so three times per trip.

The research indicated that holidaymakers ranged from the young to the old, with Gen Z standing out from the crowd.
71.8 per cent of age group confessed to experiencing the 'Fear of Missing Out', wishing they were back home in the pub with friends and family.
New food topped the charts as the favoured holiday experience for the West Midlanders, with 68 per cent of respondents admitting their love for trying out new delicacies abroad, which surprisingly came ahead of 'the weather', which 55 per cent of people cited.
47 per cent conveyed their wish for more global food options back home.
Greene King Pubs brand director Natalia Perez said: "Brits from the West Midlands love travelling the world and trying new things, yet also value the friendliness and familiarity a British pub can always provide.
"At Seared Pubs we take that classic pub vibe at your local and add in global dishes like Lamb Koftas, Jerk Chicken, and Korean Fried Chicken."
The research also brought to light the West Midlander's favourite holiday treats: Lamb Koftas topped the chart with 34 per cent of votes, followed by Halloumi Fries, Jerk Chicken and Korean Fried Chicken.
As for their favourite holiday drink, 40 per cent of respondents opted for Mojitos, while 34 per cent chose Corona as their preferred holiday beer.
