Two city pubs have been awarded the highest possible food hygiene ratings after inspections this month.
The Food Standards Agency's website states that both The Coach & Horses at 39 Upper Thing and The Saracens Head at 4 The Tything were each rated five out of five after an inspection on Thursday, August 15.
It means that of Worcester's 53 pubs, bars and nightclubs with ratings, 41 have ratings of five and none have zero ratings.
Food hygiene ratings are based on how a premises handles, prepares, and stores food.
