Worcester News readers have been reminiscing their old memories of a beloved city leisure centre.

The former Perdiswell Leisure Centre has evoked a wave of nostalgia amongst Worcester residents, sparking tales that range from roller discos to chance meetings with future spouses.

In January 2017, a £10.5 million swimming pool was completed at the old leisure centre, which remains in place as Worcester's "Cathedral for sport", according to the project's manager Richard Savory.

The sports centre was demolished to make way for the new facility.
