A MAN has been fined hundreds of pounds for failing to give the identification of the driver of a Porsche.
Peter Leach, of Sinton Green, Hallow, near Worcester, pleaded guilty to not telling West Midlands Police who was driving the Porsche in Birmingham on December 12 last year.
The driver was alleged to have been guilty of an offence, Birmingham Magistrates Court heard on Tuesday, August 20.
The 53-year-old was fined £660 and must pay a victim surcharge of £264 as well as court costs of £120.
Leach's driving record was endorsed with six points.
A second charge of exceeding a variable speed limit on the M6 between junctions 7 and 8 was dismissed.
The costs total £1,044 and must be paid by Wednesday, September 18.
