A TOUCHING tribute to four farmers who died saw a convoy of tractors make their way around the outskirts of Worcester. 

Classic tractors of all shapes and sizes travelled through many villages in the county in memory of Jason Allen, Andy Ralph, David Ralph and Stuart Hawkins.

Their love for vintage tractors led the Cooper family, dear friends of the four men, to host a parade to raise money for Teenage Cancer Trust.

Various models took part in the convoy.Various models took part in the convoy. (Image: Lauren Cooper) "It was really great to see a lot more tractors turn up than originally planned," said Lauren Cooper, whose father Steve organised the tractor run with his friend Mark Saunders.

"Lots were stood watching which was great.

"Five years ago, my dad's best friend, Andy, died in an accident, and he wanted to do something for a very long time.

"Andy loved tractors and used to take them to the agricultural shows. Jason loved them too."

Jason Allen and Andy Ralph died five years ago on the A449 after a "tragic" crash involving an ambulance.

The tractor run started in Newland and then went through Bransford.

It had also gone through Worcestershire fields before ending in Suckley.

"A member of the Ralph family had been diagnosed with lymphoma aged 16 and going through that in college.

"They went through hell," added Miss Cooper.

"I would like to say how proud I am and thank you to everyone for coming.

"It made the day so special."

The three-minute video shows the tractors passing through the village as residents watch.

Several drivers can be seen waving to onlookers as they pass.
