A popular brunch restaurant has announced it's opening a new deli.
Toast, which is based in Flyford Flavell village near Worcester, intends to highlight many of the products it uses in the restaurant through the deli.
Toast's director, Morgan Sanders, said: "We pride ourselves on the produce we use in the restaurant, and so the deli will feature a lot of that local produce alongside products from small local businesses.
"There will be three sections, including the deli itself, a home and lifestyle space and a garden area with a lot of handmade items featured in those.
"We wanted to give visitors a glimpse into the area and what it offers."
Having moved its flagship restaurant into a new space in February this year, Toast is currently renovating its former space, which is split into three sections, in time for the opening of the deli on Monday, October 7.
Ms Sanders added: "Customers are excited about the new space opening, however the people that live here in Flyford are particularly looking forward to it as it will be something new to explore."
Meats such as Lashford sausages, cheeses, bakery items, and boxes of fresh vegetables will be core features of the deli, and Toast will start a meat and vegetable pre-order service through suppliers such as Knightwick Butchers.
The deli's newly appointed general manager, Tamzin Richards, said: "The local produce and highlighting small businesses elements are important, and there will be a big focus on quality.
"Because when you think of a delicatessen, you associate it with luxury and high-quality produce."
Once opened, the deli's planned opening hours will be from 7am until 6pm seven days a week.
Mrs Richards added: "We will be a 'grab and go' option for customers from early in the morning, and we get a lot of cyclists stopping off here so it'll be a popular option.
"There will be items that people just can't find at a supermarket.
The deli will match up to Toast's quirky design too, according to Mrs Richards, who added: "The new space will really complement the Toast restaurant and they will marry up nicely with each other."
