A HARDWORKING student who has been battling a long-term condition is celebrating achieving top results.
Libby Parker, a pupil at RGS Worcester, managed to achieve four grade 9 GCSEs - the equivalent to higher than an A* - despite having long covid.
The 16-year-old managed the incredible results despite only spending limited time in school because of her illness and now the school will support her as she begins her A-Levels.
Year 11 students were embarking on their first year of secondary school during the first covid-19 lockdown and Libby still endures the effects of the pandemic today.
Alongside her studies, Libby raised over £8,000 through her own fundraising event for young people with long covid called The Big Push.
