PLANS for the second phase of redevelopments at a Worcester charity have been submitted.

Worcester Snoezelen helps people with additional needs and disabilities through a range of multisensory and therapeutic activities.

To help improve their work, Worcester Snoezelen is looking to modernise its headquarters in Turnpike Close St John's.

In plans submitted to the council, it said: "The expansion will improve the functionality and accessibility of the existing spaces as well as create new purpose-built therapy rooms which will increase the centre's sensory and activity offering."

The plan will also include the construction of a new therapy garden.

Phase one of the plans included a new temporary car park, a new entrance to the site and the relocation of portable cabins.

After the first phase was approved in June, Jane Roberts, chief officer at Worcester Snoezelen, said: "We are really looking forward to our members seeing it."
