A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of causing injury by dangerous driving.
A pedestrian was taken to hospital following an incident in Fortune Avenue, Welland, near Malvern, yesterday afternoon (August 20).
A West Mercia Police spokesperson said: "We received a report around 3pm yesterday afternoon (August 20) of a disturbance on Kingston Close in Welland.
"Officers arrived at the incident and one man, 23, was arrested on suspicion of causing injury by dangerous driving."
A spokesperson for West Midlands Ambulance said: "We were called to Fortune Avenue, Welland, Malvern at 2.54pm (August 20).
"One ambulance attended and treated one man, a pedestrian, who had been injured in a collision with a car.
"The man was conveyed to Worcestershire Royal Hospital for further checks."
