POLICE are appealing for help after a vulnerable disabled man was left 'devastated' when his 'lifeline' mobility scooter was stolen.
Guy Watson's mobility scooter was stolen from the car park of his home on Millwright House, Basin Road, Diglis, Worcester.
The 79-year-old said the scooter helped him retain his independence, and he still has hope it can be returned after it was stolen by 'heartless' thieves.
West Mercia Police said they are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed or have information on the incident.

Those who may know something have been told to contact police through its Tell Us About form on its website, quoting incident reference number 00139_I_20082024.
Mr Watson, a former civil servant with the Health and Safety Executive, has multiple sclerosis.
He said: "I feel really, seriously fed-up. This takes me back to before I had a mobility scooter when I had a stroke and lost my driving licence. For 18 months, I was unable to get about at all unless I had somebody to help me. That was in 2016.
"The mobility scooter is vital to my independence. It is a lifeline to me. It's a very cruel blow. I just want it returned to me."
He paid nearly £1,000 for the mobility scooter second-hand in June last year.
He said he can only walk short distances and his daughter added that he has suffered from falls in the past.
His daughter, Lydia Watson, said: "We cannot believe that thieves could be so heartless as to steal from a disabled person. I’m concerned, as his daughter, that they have followed him back to his home and targeted him.
"It’s a large heavy item that won’t be easy to move around. We desperately have to get it back for him."
In the police appeal, PCSO Ian Cadwallader said: "We are appealing for information after a Mobility Scooter was stolen from Millwright House Basin Road Worcester.
The theft occurred between 3pm, on August 14, and 11am on August 15.
"The scooter was red, with a basket on the rear and waterproofs inside.
"We are keen to hear from anyone who may have any information relating to the theft of these items or who may have been in the area around the time of the incident and heard or seen anything suspicious."
