A MAN trying to visit every state in America said he has no regrets about the decision despite possibly running out of funds before the end of the trip.
Like a lot of university students, Morgan Jenkins from Warndon Villages decided to go travelling after education.
However, after saving up for two years and being on the move for three months, he admitted that his journey might end earlier than expected.
The explorer said he was trying to make up for lost time after spending two years indoors during covid and losing out on his summer job in America due to the pandemic.
He is sharing everything he has learned on the trip with his followers on social media.
Mr Jenkins said: "I'm aiming to visit all 50 states and I'm 22 in at the moment.
"I started in New York and the east coast before going through the southern states and up to California, now I'm making my way back through the northern states.
"Finance-wise, I saved up for two years after finishing my history degree at the University of East Anglia, but I'll probably be a bit short.
"America is more expensive than I thought, but I'll do as many as I can.
"I have always wanted to visit America, it's where a lot of films happen and it's such a diverse country, it's like 50 countries in one."
He has been sharing tips and tricks from his time solo travelling on his account Morgan Travels on TikTok and morganjenkins on Instagram.
Mr Jenkins continued: "Solo travelling can be a bit lonely and so I think my favourite state was California when I visited places like The Grand Canyon and Yosemite as part of a group.
"It has everything from mountains and desolate valleys to big cities.
"I'm over three months in now and I have a six-month visa, but I think it's a case of when the money runs out more than the visa.
"I have no regrets though, it's been exhausting but I've seen things I wouldn't trade for the world and I'm really glad I came."
