A MAN from Worcester has been charged with five offences including the assault of a police officer.
Gerson Ceita, of Lowesmoor Terrace, has been charged with theft from a shop and common assault of an emergency worker.
He has also been charged with possession of a class B drug (cannabis), resisting a constable in the execution of duty and going equipped for theft after an incident in the city on Saturday (August 17)
The 25-year-old has been bailed and will appear at Worcester Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, August 27.
