A MAN has been arrested following an assault in Worcester city centre.
Another man was taken to hospital with serious head injuries after an incident near Valentino Gelato Dessert Restaurant, St Nicholas Street, at around 2.40am on Saturday (August 17).
Police launched an appeal to find a man they wanted to speak to concerning the incident, as well as a key witness who may have been there during the assault.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "A man in his 30s has been arrested on suspicion of assault following an incident in Worcester on Saturday, August 17.
"Thank you to everyone who shared our appeal."
