A new take on an Anton Chekhov classic is coming to the Swan Theatre stage.

Adapted by Andrew Whittle, 'The Cherry Orchard' will give a fresh perspective of the play, which presents the tragicomic drama of a family struggling against the sale of their cherished orchard.

Madame Lubov battles to keep her family united amidst societal flux and shifting staff hierarchies.

The performance captures the end days of the Russian aristocracy before a sweeping revolution.

The show will hit the stage of the Worcester venue at 7.30pm on each evening from Wednesday 28 to Saturday, August 31.
