A MAJOR road near Evesham has been closed following a car crash.
The incident happened on the A46 between Twyford roundabout and Salford Priors.
The road has been closed for around an hour following a four-vehicle collision.
A spokesperson for the West Mercia Police said: "There is currently a road closure in place on the A46 Twyford, towards Evesham following a four-vehicle collision.
"Both lanes on the southbound carriageway only are closed.
"We believe there to be no serious or life-threatening injuries, and no arrests have been made. Please expect delays while vehicles are recovered, and debris is cleared from the road."
