DRIVERS were "dealt with" after police with speed cameras targeted those over the limit in St John's.
Police officers were on Henwick Road to tackle resident's concerns about speeding in the area.
A handful of drivers were stopped and dealt with as appropriate.
A spokesperson for St Johns and Bedwardine SNT said: "This morning, we have been carrying out speed checks on Henwick Road, St John's, after concerns had been raised by residents.
"A handful of drivers were stopped and dealt with as appropriate.
"We will be continuing to carry out speed checks in and around St. John's, as and where issues arise, please do continue to let us know where your problem areas are we will endeavour to help where we can."
