POLICE have released a photo of a man they want to talk to in connection with a rape in Malvern.

Officers have today released a CCTV image as they appeal for witnesses following a rape in Malvern last week.

Police would like to speak to the man in this picture as they believe he may be able to help with their enquiries after a woman was raped in Priory Park around 3am on Sunday, August 4.

A man was seen leaving the Old Con Club in Malvern between 2.30am and 3am and turned right from the entrance, past the cemetery and along Church Street and past Grange Road before entering Priory Park.

The man pictured is described as having curly hair, around 5ft 8ins tall and of average build.

Detectives are also keen to speak to a taxi driver who helped the woman after the incident as a key witness in their investigation. The taxi driver is not the man pictured and is not a suspect in this case.
