95 per cent of visitors to Worcestershire liked it so much they would likely make a return visit, a survey has revealed.

The recent figures, collected between June and July, revealed a soaring satisfaction rate among tourists visiting the county.

Overall satisfaction levels for the county stand at 91 per cent, with 46 per cent of respondents being very satisfied while 45 per cent were satisfied with their experiences.

Findings further reveal that 91 per cent of participants would recommend Worcestershire as a place to visit.

Within this figure, 52 per cent said they would be highly likely to recommend Worcestershire, while 39 per cent would likely suggest the county to others.

When asked about the probability of revisiting, 63 per cent were definite they would make a return trip, and 32 per cent indicated a likelihood of returning.

Councillor Adam Kent, Cabinet Member for Economy and Skills at Worcestershire County Council, said: "I’m absolutely thrilled by the results of this survey, which paint a glowing picture of Worcestershire as a top-tier destination.

"With a staggering 95 per cent of visitors eager to return and 91 per cent ready to sing our praises, it’s clear that our county is not just meeting but exceeding expectations.

“From our breathtaking landscapes and vibrant history to our welcoming people and diverse attractions, Worcestershire truly offers something special for everyone.”

“These findings are a testament to the hard work and dedication of our local businesses and communities, and I can’t wait to see how we build on this momentum to make future visits even more unforgettable."

Worcestershire has been recognized in Condé Nast’s 'Best Places to Go in the UK & Ireland in 2024' and as the 'UK's best staycation destination' by Auto Finance.

Moreover, 54 attractions and 37 accommodation providers have appeared in TripAdvisor’s Travellers' Choice Awards.

The survey also pinpoints possible improvements, including more easily accessible information, affordable accommodation alternatives and improved public transportation links.

Future surveys are scheduled for 2026 and 2029 to gather more insights.
