WORCESTER has been hit with heavy rain and thunder on what should be the hottest day of the year.
The Met Office has predicted a very low chance of rain for today (Monday) even though Worcester has been impacted by thunderstorms.
A spokesperson for the Met Office has said the weather today would be sunny and hot, and according to its interactive map, there is no rain in the city.
Rain started falling across the city just after 9pm and it has then been on and off since.
Thunder has also been heard.
Worcester News has contacted The Met Office for a comment.
