POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a man was seen running from the scene of a crash on the M5.
The crash took place at around 7.50am this morning (Thursday, August 8) on the northbound carriageway of the motorway between junctions 5 (Droitwich) and 4A (Birmingham/M42).
The incident involved a Ford Fiesta and an MG and the motorway was partially blocked but later reopened.
The driver of the Fiesta was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
A man, believed to be in his late 20s, was seen running from the scene.
He is described as white and was wearing a white t-shirt and red shorts.
West Mercia Police is now appealing for witnesses.
