A NEW mobile phone mast could be installed at Strensham Services on the southbound M5.
Plans for a new 4G tower to serve the mobile networks Three and EE have been submitted to Wychavon District Council by infrastructure provider Cellnex.
If approved, the plans would see a new 20-metre mast replace the existing 15-metre structure already in place at the site.
According to planning documents: “The number of radio equipment cabinets and their size has been limited to what is required to meet the operator’s current and foreseeable network requirements.”
