Families with children eligible for free school meals can secure slots for Worcestershire's Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme.

The county-wide programme is set to commence this summer.

With over 45 providers offering a range of activities including watersports, arts and crafts, and football, parents can book their children's preferred activities via the HAF website.

Other options include horse riding, martial arts and even provisions for children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Councillor David Chambers, Worcestershire County Council’s cabinet member for education, said: "There are so many brilliant activities taking place this summer so I would encourage anyone with a child receiving benefits related Free School Meals to sign up for the programme and see what’s on offer for their child."

A new booking system has been introduced for this year so families must be signed up and approved to book activities. Once you have registered, you can log in to view and book up to 16 free sessions throughout the summer holidays
