A MAN has been arrested after a pedestrian was injured in a hit-and-run in Worcester.
The man has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm.
The victim, also a man, was treated for injuries at the scene after being hit by a car on Southfield Street, Arboretum, at about 5pm on Saturday (August 3).
The driver of the vehicle, a grey Peugeot estate, failed to stop after the collision.
A spokesperson for West Mercia Police said: "One man has been arrested on suspicion of grievous bodily harm.
"He has since been released on bail while enquiries continue."
