A NEW dessert restaurant is preparing to open its doors in the city centre this month.
Waffle and More will welcome customers to their new location at 29 Broad Street for the first time on Tuesday, August 13.
The business has four shops across the South East and the Midlands, with a sixth location set to open in Rugby after the Worcester
Alan Wright, franchisor of Waffle and More, said: "The unit on Broad Street became available and we have a franchisee in the area so it was perfect to expand."
The restaurant offers an extensive menu of both sweet and savoury treats including burgers, hot dogs, nachos, ice cream, desserts and, of course, waffles.
Mr Wright said: "We're family-oriented with a big focus on value for money.
"We're very aware of the cost of living crisis and how it affects people and that's why we're focused on the value."
The restaurant's unique selling point is its coin-free arcade, where families can play a selection of classic and modern arcade games.
Visitors can play an unlimited number of games for as little as £3.99 for an hour.
Mr Wright is excited for opening day: "We're aiming for an opening on Tuesday (August 13) and we look forward to welcoming people."
