A GOOSE had to be rescued from a lake in Bransford by a fire crew.
A Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service crew from Worcester Fire Station was called at 2.30pm on Saturday, August 3 to rescue the animal from the lake.
The goose was caught in a fishing line on a pool and was rescued by fire service personnel using a sled and the swiftwater rescue team.
It was then handed over to Worcestershire Wildlife Trust.
The incident was marked as pending closure at 3.45am.
