A 46-year-old driver has been fined for going 'over 40mph' on the M5 near Worcester after he broke a temporary speed limit.
Simon Dodd was caught speeding on the M5 between junction 5 (Droitwich) and 4a (Catshill) northbound when he was captured speeding by an automatic camera device.
The case was heard at Worcester Magistrates Court on Thursday when Dodd was fined for breaking a temporary motorway speed limit.
Dodd of Broadmeadow Green, Bilston, exceeded the variable speed limit in a Mercedes on January 18 this year.
The regulations, in force at the time between junctions 4a and 6, meant that drivers were prohibited from going over 40 miles per hour.
