THREE people have been arrested after a "large amount of white powder" was found in a Malvern home.

Two men, aged 55 and 33, and a woman, 53, were arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply after Malvern SNT carried out a drugs warrant at an address in Apple Orchard Close.

Police found a large amount of white powder believed to be Class A drugs.

Some tablets, also believed to be class A drugs, were also found.

The three people are helping police with inquiries and have been bailed while investigations are ongoing.

PCSO Kevin Tudge said: "Safer Neighbourhood Team officers carried out a drugs warrant yesterday (Thursday, August 1) at an address in Apple Orchard Close.

"The warrant was authorised as a result of intelligence received by members of the public and work done.

"We always encourage the public to report drug dealing to the Police. If you do not feel comfortable reporting it directly, then you can report it anonymously via Crime Stoppers on 0800 555 111."
