PLANS to turn the upper floors of a city centre building into self-contained flats are being considered by the council.
The owners of 11 Angel Street want to refurbish the floors above Shakeeys in Angel Street.
The proposals would see the creation of three self-contained flats.
According to planning documents, the number of units has been reduced from previous applications in order to increase the standard of accommodation.
The development would also include “a refurbished retail unit at ground floor”.
There is already quite a bit of development planned for Angel Street, including the renovation of the former Scala cinema and the Corn Exchange, and the Cricketers pub.
