Worcester City Council wants to hear your feedback on polling stations across the city.
The council is currently reviewing the polling locations and is calling on Worcester residents to share their opinions on the matter.
Residents are invited to take a short survey online at www.worcester.gov.uk/voiceit or pick up printed questionnaires from the Guildhall.
The council is interested in the suitability of the polling station's location, the lighting, accessibility, and overall convenience of the voting facilities.
Shane Flynn, acting returning officer for the Worcester constituency, said: "We want to make sure that everyone in Worcester who is eligible to vote can exercise their democratic right in a place that is accessible for them.
"This consultation will help us to highlight and resolve any problems which might deter voters from visiting their designated polling station."
He added: "If you have views on how polling stations in your area could be improved, or would like to suggest alternative locations, then this is your opportunity to have a say before the next election takes place in Worcester.
“We would particularly like to hear from disabled residents and people with expertise in access for people with any type of disability, to make sure our polling stations are open to everybody."
The consultation process began on Thursday (August 1) and will last or six weeks, ending on Thursday, September 12.
Following the initial consultation, the acting returning officer will comment on the existing arrangements and might propose changes.
A second consultation stage will then take place, beginning on Friday, September 20 and lasting for another four weeks, providing residents with a chance to comment on the proposed changes.
The results of the review will then be taken into consideration during a council committee meeting later in the year.
For more information or to participate, you can visit www.worcester.gov.uk/voiceit, collect a printed consultation from the Guildhall or call 01905 722233.
