Thousands of residents were left in the dark after a power cut hit Malvern.
A spokesperson for National Grid said a fault on its network near Madresfield Road caused an outage that left 2,401 homes without power for at least 45 minutes on Wednesday evening (July 31).
They said: "At 7.05pm yesterday evening, a fault on our underground network near Madresfield Road caused a power outage in parts of Malvern.
"Our engineers worked at speed to resolve the issue, with 90% of customers restored within 45 minutes.
"We'd like to thank customers for their patience and understanding while we worked to reconnect them, and are sorry for any inconvenience caused yesterday."
National Grid said power for all the affected properties was restored by approximately 9pm.
