The annual Worcester Beer, Cider and Perry Festival returns this month for another three glorious days of craft beers and ciders.

It will be the festival's 22nd year and it's expected to be another popular event, with attendance over the three days heading into the thousands.

Here's everything you need to know.

When and where?

It's the perfect entry into the weekend, taking place on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday (August 8, 9, and 10). The festival is once again hosted by Worcester Racecourse, and visitors will have all three floors of the grandstand to explore alongside the outside concourse in front of it.

The festival runs from 3pm until 11pm on Thursday, 12pm until 11pm on Friday, and 12pm until 10pm on Saturday.

Where can I park?

Worcester Racecourse is a 10-minute walk from the city's Foregate Street railway station, but those intent on driving have a number of car parks in the immediate vicinity. Options include Croft Road car park, Cattle Market car park, and Pitchcroft car park while there are other options further into the city centre.

How do I get tickets?

Tickets can be purchased in advance from the festival's official ticketing website, and it is worth contacting the festival directly to find out their availability if you wish to purchase tickets in-person on the day. Tickets cost £12 per person for entry on Thursday or Saturday, whilst prices are £16 for Friday entry.

Do I get anything else with my ticket?

Each ticket comes with two tokens that can be exchanged for two half pints of beer and cider, whilst every ticket holder receives their own official festival glass to take home with them.

What's happening on the day?

Alongside the range of breweries that will be on-site across the event, with a large focus on brewers in Worcestershire and its immediate surrounds, visitors will have a number of meat, vegan, and gluten-free food options to explore.

Live music starts on Thursday evening and returns on Friday and Saturday, generating a vibrant atmosphere across the popular three-day festival.
