A man and woman have been arrested on suspicion of supplying class B drugs.

Officers from West Mercia Police carried out a drugs warrant at a property on Chedworth Drive in Warndon on Wednesday morning (July 31), following concerns regarding drugs within the property.

Officers arrested a 36-year-old man and a 29-year-old woman following a search of the property which uncovered cannabis with an estimated value of £1,000, a Rambo-style knife, three baseball bats, and mobile phones and cash to the value of an estimated £500.

Police constable Steve Chance, who's part of Warndon's Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: "Quantitates of drugs, money and weapons were recovered from the address and the arrested persons remain in custody while enquiries are continuing.

"The Warndon community can help us by continuing to report any signs of criminal activity to us."

Anyone with information regarding drugs or their supply can report anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
