RESIDENTS are fed up with parking issues caused by transporters delivering cars to dealerships on a busy city road.
People living on and near Bromyard Road claim the transporters are parked on double yellow lines - but the dealership's spokesperson said nothing can be done about the parking.
Resident Sarah Newman also alleges she was given a barrage of abuse from a driver when she filmed the issue.
Robyn Norfolk, city councillor for Dines Green, said: "One of the main routes into Worcester, the Bromyard Road, is a busy road with stretches that are marked with double yellow lines.
"Delivery vehicles to the car showrooms on Bromyard Road often breach the rules of the road by parking on the double yellow lines to make their deliveries, sometimes for protracted periods of time.
"This is problematic for road users and residents who live near to the showrooms.
"Council parking enforcement has prioritised this area but is unable to be present at all times."
Cllr Norfolk has called for a meeting with dealerships to discuss the issue and work out a way deliveries can still be made while the rules of the road are met.

Mrs Newman said she regularly sees the transporters parked on the road.
She said "We get a lot of trouble with these vehicles unloading on double yellow lines.
"It's always at peak hours, around 8am to 8.30am and 4pm and 4.30pm.
"They are meant to park on the garage forecourts."
Mrs Newman took several photos of the registration plate of a transporter parked outside the Hyundai dealership when the driver of the vehicle noticed and confronted her.
"The unloader was being very aggressive, so I started filming.
"After I filmed it, I asked the car dealership to give me his company's name but they refused."
Mrs Newman said it has been an issue over several years but has noticed it has gotten worse recently.
"They park in front of our driveways and on dropped kerbs.
"Nothing will be done unless there's a major accident."
A spokesperson for the Hyundai dealership on Bromyard Road said: "We wouldn't be able to comment as the drivers do not work for us."
The spokesperson also said they were unable to provide us with contact details for the delivery company.
