Worcestershire County Cricket Club has partnered with Droitwich Spa Hospital.
The cricket club has chosen the hospital, which is part of Circle Health Group, as their preferred healthcare provider.
Located at the heart of Droitwich Spa town centre, the hospital is just seven miles away from the club's Visit Worcestershire New Road ground.
The strategic positioning allows injured players from the cricket team to be scanned, often within 24 - 48 hours after a match or training session.
Healthcare services at the 36-bed private facility include MRI, CT scanners, digital X-ray, and ultrasound to deliver prompt diagnostic results enabling the club's medical team to react swiftly when injuries occur.
Advanced physiotherapy services, including shockwave therapy and innovative hand therapy, are offered to the players at Droitwich Spa Hospital.
These essential recovery treatments ensure players get back to match fitness more quickly.
Commenting on the partnership, Claire Davenport, executive director at Droitwich Spa Hospital, said: "We are thrilled to be working with Worcestershire County Cricket Club, they have such a presence in the county and are extremely well supported by the local community.
"We wish them all the very best for this season and are always happy to help their players, as and when required."
Joe Tromans, head of Commercial and Partnerships at Worcestershire County Cricket Club, said: "We are excited to partner with Droitwich Spa Hospital, ensuring our players have access to top-tier medical and physiotherapy services.
"This collaboration is crucial for the wellbeing and performance of our team, allowing us to respond swiftly to injuries and maintain our players' fitness throughout the season.
"We look forward to a successful partnership that will benefit both our club and the local community."
Circle Health Group, the parent of Droitwich Spa Hospital, is Britain’s largest independent hospital network.
