WORCESTER City Council has made the decision to make changes to bin collections and they come into effect this week.
The changes mean that this week (starting July 29), every resident of Worcester will have only their black bins collected.
Next week everyone will have their green bins collected and the schedule will be swapped each week.
This change is estimated to affect 23,000 people.
Half of the city's residents used to have their green bins collected while the other half had their black bins collected in the same week.
