THERE are 40 full-sized penguins in the Great Waddle of Worcester- but where can you find them?

In the week since the Waddle began, the official app revealing the trail route has recorded more than 74,000 visits to individual penguins, with around 1000 ‘pen-grin’ selfies uploaded to its gallery.

We take a look at every full-sized penguin on the trail and where they can be found. 

01 - Sanctuary 

Starting off the trail we have Sanctuary. This penguin, with its beautiful mix of light and dark blues and swan paintings, was designed by Pocket Wren and sponsored by Worcestershire County Cricket Club. 

It can be viewed at The Quay near the fountains.

2. Spirit 

Next up we have Spirit, who was wonderfully designed by Jess Perrin. 

This marvellous penguin has multiple brightly coloured stars on its back that really make it stand out. 

It was sponsored by Worcester BID and can be found on Broad Street, outside the entrance to Crowngate Shopping Centre.

3. Penguin on holiday 

This cool penguin is really getting in the summer spirit. The Penguin on Holiday is rocking a very loud summer shirt and has a camera at the ready to take snaps of his visit to Worcester. 

This penguin, designed by David Cutts and sponsored by ArrangeMY escape, is currently taking in the sights at The Cross on Worcester High Street.

4. Conservenguin

The Conservenguin sports a very slick design and is on show for everyone to see on Worcester High Street, outside Superdrug. 

This penguin was designed by Ali Elly Design, who went for a simple but striking black and white design.

It was sponsored by West Midlands Safari Park.

5. Dr Waddlecog of Worcester

One of the most unique designs on the trail, Dr Waddlecog of Worcester sports a helmet, a jet pack and a bright orange cape, bringing a ton of fun to Worcester High Street. 

It was designed by Kevin Baumber Welderbeasts and sponsored by Yamazaki Mazak.

You can find Dr Waddlecog outside the Crowngate entrance.

6. It's 'Penguin-ing' to Look a lot like Christmas 

It may be summer at the moment, but this penguin is already counting down the days until Christmas. 

It's 'Penguin-ing' to Look a lot like Christmas, designed by Katie Hodgetts, is wearing a fabulous pink white and green Christmas jumper complete with Christmas trees and snowflakes. 

It was sponsored by Southco Manufacturing Ltd and you can see it outside the Guildhall.

7. Skating on the Severn 

As you move out of the High Street and onto Cathedral Square, you'll find this remarkable design celebrating Worcester, the River Severn, and of course, penguins. 

Designer Julia Kerrison designed Skating on the Severn to capture the Cathedral at sunset while many penguins skate on a frozen River Severn. 

It was sponsored by Pyramid Care Fostering Services and Abigail's Place.

8. Fancy a Cake

Don't pass the Royal Porcelain Works if you are hungry, as this penguin's design features several realistic and tasty-looking cakes tucked inside an apron pocket. 

The fantastic piece was designed by Peter Poole and sponsored by Vandemoortele Vamix NV.

9. Edmund Ironsides 

Edmund Ironsides looks more machine than penguin but its design is certainly very inventive. 

Sweetart Murals gave Edmund beautiful light blue feathers, a wooden chest and a mechanical quality that reveals many subtle details.

10. Hairy Monster 

The Worcester News's very own sponsored penguin features a funky and very hairy monster. 

Hairy Monster was designed by Pip Claffey from Rune Creative and combines a striking red with a bright yellow to great effect. 

You can find 'Hairy Monster' at Fort Royal Park.

11. Calvin the Copperplate Penguin

Calvin the Copperplate Penguin has a striking copper colour contrasted with the subtle shaded depictions of the Worcester Bridge. 

It was designed by Amy Bourbon, sponsored by Malvern Panalytical and can be found at the junction between Union and Friar Street.

12. Penguins at Play 

There is a wonderfully idyllic picture painted on 'Penguins at Play', the penguin stationed at The Shambles. 

Designed by Phillippa and Rachael Corcutt, you can spot a bright blue river, gorgeous green fields and young penguins waddling about and playing on swings in the painting. 

It was sponsored by Phoenix Childcare and Gaudet Luce Golf Club.

13. Nebula

Nebula, designed by Jina Gelder, has a wonderful contrast between the bright oranges and shiny glossed black. 

It was sponsored by Penguin Office Supplies Ltd and is stationed at St Martin's Quarter.

14. Elgar's Enigma 

This penguin is certainly a sharply dressed one. 

Elgar's Enigma, which was designed by Zubieta, features a penguin in a flamboyant bright blue and green suit. 

It was sponsored by Mr D's Olde Sweet Shop and can be seen at The Cornmarket.

15. Sprinkle 

This design will make you fancy an ice cream in the hot weather.

Sprinkle, designed by Reilly Creative, has a a brilliantly detailed ice cream cone and several multicoloured scoops- and you can't forget the sprinkles. 

It was sponsored by Spitfire Homes and can be found at The Shambles.

16. Welcome to Worcester 

As you approach the halfway point of the trail, you will be struck by this marvellous design celebrating the best of the city, from the Cathedral to Worcester Sauce and the Pears. 

Welcome to Worcester was designed by Big Helping, sponsored by BBC Radio Hereford and Worcester and is currently at The Hopmarket.

17. Eighties Eddie

Step back in time with Eighties Eddie, who brings all the colour and vibrancy of the era to Worcester Foregate Street station. 

Designer Jenny Leonard made this penguin pop with bright yellows, blues and purples.

18. Kingsley the Kaleidoscope Penguin

A dazzling array of colour will meet visitors to the Worcester City Art Gallery and Museum when they meet Kingsley the Kaleidoscope Penguin. 

This unique design was the brainchild of Amy Bourbon and was sponsored by Worcestershire Apprenticeships.

19. Silk Snowdrops

With all the heat at the moment, this subtle yet highly impactful design brings a touch of frost back to Worcester. 

Silk Snowdrops was designed by Amy Gazeley and sponsored by Thorlux Lighting, and you can spot it at Castle Street, Pitchcroft.

20. Picasso Penguin

Picasso Penguin brings a wonderful splash of colour to the steps leading up to the Hive. 

This colourful design was created by Marnie Maurri and sponsored by the Hopmarket Charity, Platform Property Care and Sutcliffe & Co Insurance Brokers.

21. Precious Penguin

This precious penguin is in full bloom with a remarkably detailed design showcasing hundreds of flower petals.

Precious Penguin was designed by Hilary Sanderson, sponsored by Crowngate Shopping Centre and can be found at The Hive gardens.

22. Doodle McZenguin 

Doodle McZenguin, a design by Inner Knowings, is awash with creativity with dozens of intricate patterns combining to create a penguin bursting with vibrancy. 

It was sponsored by Worcester Learning Zone Ltd and can be found at the entrance to The Hive.

23. Flower Queen

Flower Queen, on Sawmill Walk, celebrates the natural world with this striking design. 

It was designed by Laura Pee, sponsored by The Gables Care Home and can be found on Sawmill Walk.

24. Fisherman's Friend 

The bright yellow Fisherman's Friend takes pride of place near the River Severn at the Croft Road Gardens.

25. Woolly Waddler 

Christmas has come early for the Woolly Waddler as he shows off his very festive jumper at Croft Road Gardens. 

Three Counties Christmas celebrated the festive season by sponsoring this penguin, which was designed by Ali Chester.

26. Little Blue Makes a Wish 

There's a mystic and hopeful quality to the design for Little Blue Makes a Wish, from the deep blue background to the bright stars and dandelions in the foreground. 

It was designed by Marnie Maurri, sponsored by The Vale Crematorium and can be found at Cripplegate Park.

27. The Swan 

This penguin has been transformed into a stunning swan by designer Janine Smith. 

This was sponsored by Westbridge Foods Ltd and can be found at Bromwich Parade.

28. Doing the Worcester Wiggle 

Join this penguin in 'Doing the Worcester Wiggle' at the Bromwich Parade ferry crossing. 

This design, from Sue White, features several brightly-coloured fishes and a lot of waves that really make the design pop. 

It was sponsored by Worcester City Council.

29. Percy 

Percy, with its gorgeous light blue and purple colours and intricate feather design, brings a touch of class to Bromwich Parade. 

It was designed by Lucy Loves Design, sponsored by The Linbury Doctors and can be found on the chapter meadows city end of Bromwich Parade.

30. PengBot001

PengBot001 looks cold, menacing and absolutely fantastic. 

From its sharp robotic design to piercing bright blue eyes, designer Sumit Sarkar has done a fantastic job with this.

31. Kingfisher Azure

Kingfisher Azure is bursting with bright colour and brings a real sense of joy to the Kingfisher spotting area of Bromwich Parade. 

It was designed by The Pink Hare and sponsored by Sytner BMW Worcester and Sytner MINI Worcester.

32. Starlit Journey 

Go on a journey through the night with this out of this world design.

Starlit Journey was designed by Anne Bardsley , sponsored by Sanctuary and can be found in the Fish Pass city end of Bromwich Parade.

33. Captain Blackbeak 

Captain Blackbeak chooses a pirates life in this brilliantly inventive design. 

Designer Jina Gelder has kitted her penguin out in classy pirate attire that would make Jack Sparrow jealous. 

The work was sponsored by NAL and can be found around the Diglis footbridge on Bromwich Parade.

34. I Spy Penguin

Marvel at a stunning design while learning some interesting facts and figures when you visit I Spy Penguin. 

This penguin was designed by Phillippa and Rachael Corcutt, sponsored by Adult Learning Worcestershire and Multiply and can be found at the Diglis Dock Road.

35. Blossom

A collage of leaves and flowers with eye-catching colours make up this wonderful design. 

Blossom was designed by Susan Birth, sponsored by Prime and can be found at the Oil Basin on Diglis Dock Road.

36. Wish Upon A Star

Several huge white stars are the centrepiece of this dazzling design which captures the mystery of space.

'Wish Upon a Star' was designed by David Graham, sponsored by Worcestershire Ambassadors Ltd  and can be found on Severn Way, at the Diglis Parade.

37. Azura 

Three simple colours and dozens of shapes combine to make the highly effective design on Azura. 

It was designed by Gill Prendergast, sponsored by AA Salt Services Ltd and is stationed on Severn Way, at the Diglis Parade.

38. Wiggly Waddle 

As you near the end of your trail you will find Wiggly Waddle, which sports bold black lines that pop on an otherwise completely white canvas. 

It was designed by Bex Whiting, sponsored by Kimal and can be found near the Diglis Hotel King's Boat House.

39. Waddle I Do Without You 

Waddle I Do Without You really pulls on the heartstrings with a beautifully uplifting design. 

Katie Hodgetts incorporated many colourful hearts, plants and flowers into her design, which was sponsored by Gates, Railings and Fencing Limited and can be found on Kleve Walk.

40. Blue Penguin 

You made it to the end. Here, you will be greeted with yet another wonderful penguin design, with this one using different shades of blue with stunning effectiveness. 

Blue Penguin was designed by Petr Horáček, sponsored by Droitwich Spa Hospital and can be found on Kleve Walk near The Quay, Bishop's Palace.
