A MAN is set to appear in court after he was charged with the manslaughter of a 65-year-old found injured outside a Malvern pub.
David Butler, of Worcester Road, Malvern is accused of unlawfully killing Robert Chadney between December 30 and January 4 this year.
The 53-year-old is due to appear at Worcester Magistrates Court for his first hearing on Tuesday, July 30.
Mr Chadney died in hospital after being discovered outside the Beauchamp Arms, Worcester Road, Malvern.
A passing ambulance crew spotted him and stopped to help at 10pm on December 31, 2023.
Ambulance crews gave the injured man advanced life support at the scene before taking him to Queen Elizabeth Hospital for further treatment, where he later died from his injuries.
The 65-year-old's inquest was due to take place at Worcestershire Coroner's Court, in Stourport, on August 22.
