A PARK'S splashpad has been reopened after it was closed for repair.
Gheluvelt Park's splash pad will be back in action today (Friday) after it was closed due to a technical fault on Friday, July 19.
A Worcester City Council spokesperson said: "Great news! The Splashpad at Gheluvelt Park will be back in action today.
"There may be a short delay in it opening, but it will be in action until 6pm.
"The Splashpad's summer opening hours are 11am to 6pm."
Managing director David Blake said having to close on some of the hottest days of the year is “embarrassing” for the council during an Environment committee meeting.
The council is investigating whether the feature has come to the end of its working life.
