A housebuilder in Worcester is handing out free explorer packs to encourage children to play outside more this summer.
Redrow Midlands is distributing these packs to children at its Kensington Gate development as part of a nationwide initiative to get children outdoors with their friends and family.
The initiative was launched after their community play report revealed that 73 percent of grandparents and 70 percent of parents in the Midlands say children are spending less time outside.
Elaine Cartwright, sales director for Redrow Midlands, said: "With school officially out for summer, we’re thrilled to be offering explorer packs to children in Worcester to encourage them to get to know the wonderful nature we have on our doorstep."
