A FIRE began in piles of rubbish inside a derelict building in Diglis with three fire crews arriving to tackle the blaze.
Three crews tackled the fire in a derelict building in Navigation Road in Diglis in Worcester last night.
A spokesperson for Hereford and Worcester Fire and Rescue Service said two crews from Malvern and one from Upton attended the fire at 5.11pm.
"It was a small fire in a derelict building consisting of rubbish and refuse was extinguished by two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus and using one hosereel jet," said a spokesperson.
The property was naturally ventilated. There were no casualties. Police also attended. The incident was marked as pending closure at 6.49pm.
