Worcester children can keep fit and win prizes with the new Summer Quest initiative, offering family-friendly challenges throughout August.
The new initiative includes explorations, featuring a decoder challenge in Worcester city centre and a bug hunt adventure for outdoor fun.
Fitness videos are also provided online for the entire family to complete the Les Mills Kids Fitness Challenge.
Adele Hodges, Freedom Leisure's healthy communities manager for Worcestershire, said: "At Freedom Leisure, we are excited to be working on Summer Quest alongside our partners to highlight free activities throughout the summer holidays.
"This initiative reminds everyone that being socially and physically active doesn't always cost money.
"Together, we're making it easier for families to enjoy a fun and healthy summer."
Cllr Elena Round, chair of Worcester City Council’s health and wellbeing committee, said: "Keeping everybody healthy physically and mentally during the summer holidays is important to us all.
"These challenges are free of charge and accessible for everybody to enjoy during the summer holidays."
Further information and registration can be found online.
Efforts are also being made to keep young readers engaged with Worcestershire Libraries' Summer Reading Challenge included in the events.
