PLANS to build holiday lodges next to a Worcestershire pub have been put forward.

The owners of the Marlbank Inn at Welland want to construct seven lodges in the garden.

Previous plans for eight bigger lodges have been withdrawn.

According to the new proposal: “The lodges would be sited upon a grassed area to the east of the inn that is currently used for camping.

“The lodges would provide two-bedroom accommodation with open plan kitchen living and dining as well as outdoor amenity space.

“The lodges would be timber clad and provided with decking and outdoor seating areas.”
