A man was taken hospital with 'potentially serious injuries' after falling off his motorbike.
Paramedics from West Midlands Ambulance Service (WMAS) discovered the man on Hanley Road, Upton upon Severn at 10.40am today (Thursday, July 25).
Paramedics treated him for his injuries before he was taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital.
West Mercia Police were called to the incident at 10.45am, resulting in Hanley Road - which runs into the centre of Upton upon Severn - being closed for approximately an hour.
West Mercia Police confirmed that no other vehicles were involved in the incident.
The Hanley Road closure caused further congestion in the town centre, with drivers on the A4104, High Street, and New Street all experiencing heavy traffic delays.
