A performing arts school in Worcester is to offer acting workshops featuring professional guest speakers.
All Sorts of Performing Arts has revealed it will be holding term-time classes from new venues at Bishop Perowne and Christopher Whitehead this September.
The venues boast updated facilities, including sprung floors, mirrors, a recording studio, and a theatre space.
Alongside classes like acting, dance, drumming, and rapping, the school is also launching a special program called 'In The Spotlight Musical Theatre'.
Students enrolled in the programme will have the opportunity to participate in guest workshops, perform at festivals, and shows, and even join the school's touring productions.
One such workshop will see Casualty actor Sam Barriscale share his 35-year experience with students.
Mr Barriscale, who started his career at age 13 on Radio 4’s The Archers, later worked in TV and film.
The principal of All Sorts said: "Myself and the school are so excited for the future plans and forthcoming events we have planned and are really looking forward to working with Sam Barriscale, his knowledge and experience in the industry will be valuable to all that take part.
"The last ten years of what the school and students have achieved has been incredible.
"Our teachers, staff, parents and volunteers are all dedicated to the school and work above and beyond to deliver and support the running of the company.
"We are also proud to celebrate winning the Midlands Enterprise Award for the last three years."
Interested individuals are encouraged to get one of the new 'Class Trial Passes' that the school will be offering come September.
All Sorts will also hold summer holiday workshops from July 22 to August 9, open to children in receipt of free school meals as well as those who are not.
More information about these offerings may be found on the All Sorts website: www.allsortsofpa.co.uk
