A genre-bending 18-headed brassband fusing New Orleans and Balkan beats are coming to Worcester.

Brazzmatazz are known for their performances that "gnarl and bite", and their distinctive steampunk visuals.

Their musical influences draw from a mix of genres, including sounds native to New Orleans and the Balkans, alongside elements of modern electronic music.

The band's performances involve elaborate decor and costumes which add a visual element to the sonic experience.

The group has performed on some big stages, has won awards such as the Ghent Festival Best Street Artist, and has also received rave reviews at festivals and venues.

The Severn Collective will also be performing as a support act.

This group comprises solo artists residing near the River Severn in Worcestershire, who all bring their peculiar musical styles together.

They pride themselves on creating eclectic, thrilling mixes of music to get listeners grooving.

The Collective has more than 15 part-time members, making each show a unique, one-of-a-kind experience, and keeping audiences on their toes.

The tickets are priced at £10 and can be purchased in advance.

Brazzmatazz will be performing at The Marr's Bar on Monday, August 5.
